What Chesslimit collects
Chesslimit may collect your email address or account identifier when you sign in with Apple or Google, your Chess.com username, app settings such as daily limits and schedules, device sync state, purchase status, and beta signup details if you submit the website form.
What Chesslimit does not collect
Chesslimit does not ask for your Chess.com password. Screen Time app and website selections are handled by Apple Screen Time controls on your device.
How information is used
Information is used to provide account sync, count finished Chess.com games, apply your selected limits, manage subscriptions, support beta access, and improve the product.
Third-party services
Chesslimit uses services such as Apple Sign in, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and public Chess.com profile/game data to operate the app.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your Chesslimit account and everything synced to it at any time from inside the app: open Settings, scroll to Account, and tap Delete account and data. This permanently removes your account record, synced limits, schedules, and sync history from Chesslimit servers, and resets the app on that device. It cannot be undone. Your App Store subscription is billed by Apple and is cancelled separately in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Data retention
Account and sync records are kept while your account exists and are removed when you delete your account. Chesslimit does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Terms of Use
Use of Chesslimit is also governed by the Chesslimit Terms of Use, which set out the subscription and billing terms.
